Citrus fruits like orange and lemon are good source of treatment for this disease. A person should take some orange or lemon peels and rub on the tooth gums for 5 minutes.
This rubbing of peel will release the citric acid and some extracts which will nourish the tooth gums and reduce the decay. This may hurt a bit due to the citric acid but should be repeated at least 2 times a day for better results.
Salt itself is a cure for many diseases in the human body. However, when it is mixed with pepper and pomegranate, a paste is prepared which acts as a cure for tooth decay.
Take 2 tea spoon of crushed pomegranate and mix it with 1 tea spoon of salt and half tea spoon of pepper. Mix it well and apply it for 5 minutes. Gargle with luke warm water to finish the treatment and have long lasting relief.
Spinach and carrot have a lot many medicinal values nature has imbibed in them. This juice can be used as an effective cure in pyorrhoea. To prepare the juice, wash the two vegetables thoroughly in fresh running water first. Crush the spinach leaves and carrot to make a paste. Now take a filter and extract juice from the paste. Drink it 2 to 3 times a day for immediate effect.
Banana is often prescribed by doctors as this fruit has medicinal values and also does not require much effort to chew and digest the same.
It is recommended to eat one bowl of banana and cabbage everyday to cure pyorrhoea. Generally, the juice of these two have an immediate effect, however even if they are eaten raw, there is a good and long lasting impact.
A habit of brushing the teeth twice day improves the hygiene factor in the human body and keeps the mouth fresh every time. The style of brushing should also be simple and soft. Hard brushing style also leads to bleeding in the gums.
