We generally rush to the parlors for clean up to get rid of blackheads.But apart from this you can also follow some home remedies to combat the blackheads at home. Today we are going to discuss about some home remedies which you can use at home to get rid of acne.
This is the first remedy to remove the blackheads at home To prepare this you would need one teaspoon of sugar and fee drops of lemon juice. Mix it well to get a thick scrub like paste. Use this mixture as a scrub the affected area for at least 10 minutes gently. Wash off with cold water afterwards. The sugar and lemon works wonders on blackheads. Lemon contains citric acids which helps to dissolve those blackheads. You can follow this remedy thrice in a week for best results.
Yes! Just a raw honey can also work effectively on blackheads . First cleanse your face well and pat dry. Now apply the thick sticky honey on the affected area. Keep patting it for at least 3 to 4 minutes continuously. Wash off later with cold water and pat dry. Honey contains anti bacterial and deep cleansing properties which helps to pull out the blackheads and other impurities from the skin pores like a magnet and give you a clear skin. You can follow this remedy daily to get rid of blackheads.
This is the third remedy to remove blackheads. For this you would need few coriander leaves and a pinch of turmeric. First crush the coriander leaves to a fine paste and add turmeric powder to it. Mix well and apply on the affected area. Keep it for at least half an hour and wash off later with cold water. Coriander contain anti bacterial properties and iron which helps to remove the blackheads effectively.
We have been using Egg white as a face mask and hair mask. But today we would be using it to remove the blackheads. You would need an egg white and beat it properly. Apply the first thin layer of it on your face and let it dry. Now apply the another layer of egg white and let it s dry. Now apply the final layer of it and let it sit for 15 to 20 minutes. Take a wash cloth and dip it in warm water. Squeeze the water out of it and start scrubbing your face gently with it to remove the egg white mask. Rinse your face with cold water afterwards. Follow this mask once in a week to see the visible results.
Last but not the least. We have been using baking soda in various face scrubs. Apart from exfoliating the dead skin cells it also helps to remove the blackheads as well. You would need to take one teaspoon of baking soda and add few drops of water to make a thick paste. Now scrub the affected area with this scrub gently for at least 5 minutes. Let it sit for another 5 minutes. Wash off afterwards with cold water. You can follow this remedy twice a week to get best results.
