5 Effective Herbal Remedies For Abrasions

Share

Abrasions on the skin are quite common and children seem to suffer more from them as they play a lot. These scratches or injuries on the skin can happen due to accidents, excessive scratching, sports related injuries, and many other reasons. An abrasion may or may not bleed.

The skin turns red and the affected area remains sore and painful for a short while, after which it heals on its own most of the times. It is important to clean the wound well using lukewarm water and an antiseptic soap before it gets infected. Simple herbal remedies are effective in the treatment of abrasions and provide relief from the pain.

However, for a more serious cut or abrasion, where bleeding does not stop soon and pus has formed already, it is best to consult your doctor. For minor and simple abrasions, these herbal cures are very useful.
