Natural home made fruit juices have low Glycemic index. They also help in maintaining healthy hydration levels in the body. Eating raw fruits can also provide you with good amount of roughage.

Go Nuts

Replace your evening snack with nuts. Nuts like Almonds, hazelnut, peanuts and walnuts are high on fibre and energy, and low on Glycemic index. They do not have accumulating properties and consumption of just a few of them can make you feel full. You can also include them in a salad and consume it before the meal.

This will ensure reasonable consumption of meals. These home remedies are the chosen best and also do not interfere with the medication that you might be on. There are no side effects of these remedies and make you an energetic and fresh looking individual!
