Peppermint and spearmint are excellent for flatulence. Drink teas made from these herbs to relieve bloating and flatulence. Keep peppermint and spearmint lozenges handy for quick relief.
Aniseed, cumin, fennel and dill are other carminative herbs that can be brewed into tea to help control flatulence. Sweet cicely is a mild flavored seed that can be chewed to relieve gas.
These herbal teas are especially comforting when excess gas causes bloating and pain. The hot liquid soothes and medicates.
