Eucalyptus

Eucalyptus is best known as a natural decongestant that opens the lungs and encourages breathing, clears clogged nasal passages and bronchial congestion because of one of its substances Eucalyptol. It is a natural pain reliever loaded with amazing analgesic properties to give relief from sinus headache. Eucalyptus leaves can be taken in tea, or used in steam inhalations. The essential oil is invigorating in massage oils, aroma lamps, and in herbal baths.

Herbal Blend

Pine, rosemary and eucalyptus, all these three herbs are loaded with excellent antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antiviral, analgesic properties and have natural healing effects to minimize the sinus headache. You can make a powerful herbal oil blend of these herbs to fight against sinus headaches, stuffy heads and colds and congestion.

Add 6 drops of rosemary oil with 4 drops of pine and eucalyptus oils each to make a herbal blend. For a headache, soak in a warm bath, or foot bath for at least 20 minutes. Use the same blend in an aroma lamp to cleanse the air. Dilute in a 10 percent ratio with a carrier oil for massage application.

This will cause a short-lived burning sensation in your nose, and in the back of your throat as your sinuses drain, but does not cause any damage. Your sinus congestion will clear and sinus headaches will disappear magically. You can also add cayenne powder to soups, food and teas, though you should use it enough to feel a burning sensation in your mouth.
