Apply wheat germ oil on your face and massage gently. Let it stay for 1 hour and wash with lukewarm water. This oil is rich in Vitamin E that helps to prevent skin damages that occur as a result of environment pollution and harmful UV rays. It’s a great skin softener and wonderful oily skin remedy.
Milk works wonder for oily skin. Milk helps to keep oily skin clear that tends to form acne making it patchy, rough and discolored. It acts as a cleanser and prevents skin dryness. Wash face with milk several times a day. It is vital to keep your skin free from oil or sebum.You can also mix two to three drops of lavender or sandalwood oil with milk and massage the concoction all over face to remove dirt and make up residues.
We often think that moisturizing is necessary for dry skin but it is important to note that oily skin also needs moisturizing. Apply a layer of honey on your face and let it stay for 15 minutes. Wash with lukewarm water. This is one of the excellent oily skin remedies.
Use rose water to clean your face. This is the easiest way to eliminate excess oil from the skin layers. Soak a cotton ball in rose water and clean your face thoroughly.
Cold water tightens up pores and leaves skin fresh. Use cold water to wash your face.
Avoid chemicals and harsh soaps on your face, and rather go for natural alternatives like rose water.
It is very important to avoid oil based makeup when you are having an oily skin. Oil-free makeup products and foundations are ideal for oily skin. Apply astringer before makeup.
Use glycerin soaps.
Use any of the home remedies or a combination of home remedies to reduce excess oil secretion in your skin. Avoid taking excessive oily and junk food items. Drink lots of water and include in your diet plenty of colored fruits and green vegetables to flush out toxic materials from your body.
