Blood flows within the blood vessels and it is in constant motion as the heart pumps blood through the arteries and supplies it to the different organs and cells in the body. The veins carry blood back to the heart. The muscles in the body contract to squeeze the veins which in turn push the blood back to the heart.
The blood is composed of white blood cells that fight infection, red blood cells which contain hemoglobin and which carry oxygen to the cells and remove the waste product carbon dioxide, platelets that are part of the clotting process and blood plasma which contains fluid, chemicals and proteins all of which are required for the bodily functions.
The blood clots form when the blood does not circulate properly. An intricate mechanism in the blood stream forms clots wherever they are needed for instance if the lining of the blood vessel is damaged, the platelets release chemicals that start the clotting process. Blood clots occur when the blood becomes stagnant. The muscles do not contract sufficiently to push the blood towards the heart. As a result clotting takes place which disrupts the flow of blood.
Turmeric has a score of powerful medicinal values which help to cure a vast number of diseases and ailments. Its powerful antioxidant properties detoxify the entire body and remove all the harmful impurities from the blood vessels thus keeping them in prime health.
