It kills the fungus causing the infection very effectively. This oil is especially useful in curing infections occurred due to yeast, ringworm as well as athlete’s foot.

However you should be careful while using this oil as it is extremely strong and can cause an unpleasant outcome on the skin if not used properly. For best results as one of the herbal remedies for fungal infections, take some water and mix with a few drops of this oil. Now apply this mixture to the infected area.

Garlic

Garlic is well known for its medicinal properties and is extensively used in the treatment of various ailments. It has strong anti fungal properties and hence is very effective in the treatment of fungal infections. Eating raw garlic can speed up the healing process by fighting the infection from inside.

At the same time, it should also be used as a topical application, to heal the infection. For this take garlic puree or garlic extract and apply it on the affected area. For foot infections, you can also dust your socks and shoes with garlic powder as one of the effective herbal remedies for fungal infections.

Ginseng

Ginseng is a well known herb and has been in use for centuries in the Chinese traditional system of medicine. To keep it simple all you have to do is chew on a ginseng root and swallow the juice. You can also find ginseng in liquid extract form in shops selling herbal medicines and health food stores. Ginseng is widely used in the treatment of various ailments.

Dandelion

Recurring and persistent fungal infections indicate a weakened immune system and dandelion works quite well in boosting the immune system.
