A joint is a place where two bones meet. The end parts of the bones are covered with cartilage that absorbs the friction caused by movement. A joint supports the bones and makes movement possible. Cayenne Pepper

Cayenne pepper contains a substance known as capsaicin which is very helpful in relieving the joint pain caused by arthritis and other similar conditions. Capsaicin has the ability to block the substance P which transmits pain signals.

It also activates the release of chemicals known as endorphins in the body which block pain. Take a tablespoon of pure ghee and mix one teaspoon of cayenne pepper with it. Massage the affected joint with it three times daily.

Mustard

Mustard oil has been used since centuries for relieving joint pain and for keeping the muscles, tendons and ligaments in good shape and health. Warm some mustard oil and massage the painful joint with it for ten to fifteen minutes.

Mustard oil contains key nutrients and is a rich source of magnesium and which is crucial for the health and function of the bones and muscles. Mustard oil also has rubefacient properties which stimulate circulation and ease the pain and swelling.

Ginger

Ginger has the most powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Its healing and curative powers combat all sorts of infections, eradicate the bacteria and the viruses at the root and accelerate the healing process.

Grate one big piece of ginger and add it to a glass of boiling water. Simmer on a low heat for two minutes. After five minutes strain the tea and drink three cups of it daily. Ginger will ease the joint pain very shortly.

Turmeric

If you want to stay free from such conditions as arthritis, bursitis, gout and other ailments which cause pain the joints, you should consume turmeric round the year. This common spice has tremendous antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties which scavenge all the pathogen, snuff them instantly and reduce the pain and swelling quickly. Take a teaspoon of turmeric powder and mix it into a glass of hot milk. Drink this mixture twice daily.

Amla

Joint pain caused by rheumatoid arthritis and other conditions can be relieved by strengthening the immune system. Drink half a cup of amla juice daily to keep your joints in good functioning order.
