To make this tea you need to mix a pinch of cayenne pepper in a cup of hot water. Drink one cup of this tea on a regular basis in order to get rid of peptic ulcers. Cayenne pepper freshly ground can be added to your curries, soups, stews, meats and any other kind of dishes also.

Licorice

According to a great number of health studies, licorice has extensive ulcer healing capabilities. It is known to reduce the capacity of the stomach acid so that it does not cause any kind of damage to the lining of the stomach. You can consume licorice in its encapsulated form.

You can also drink licorice tea if you want to treat peptic ulcers. For this you need to mix one ounce of finely chopped licorice root in one cup of boiling water. Let the mixture cool down and then strain it with the help of a sieve. Drink this tea daily for best results.

Bark Of Elm

The bark of the elm is very effectual in soothing the mucous membranes that act as a lining of the duodenum and the stomach. You can consume the powdered form of the bark of the slippery elm. It is advisable to mix this powder in a cup of hot water and drink it 3 times on a daily basis to cure peptic ulcers.

Fiber Rich Foods

In case you are suffering from peptic ulcers, then you should include a lot of fiber rich foods in your daily diet. These foods aid in healing the ulcer and speed up the recovery process as well.

Foods that are rich in fiber include cabbage, spinach, Brussel sprouts, broccoli, etc. Drinking cabbage juice daily will heal your ulcer in a week’s time.

Garlic

Garlic is rich in antibacterial properties and so is very beneficial in healing peptic ulcers. It is suggested that if you are fighting peptic ulcer then eat 2 cloves of garlic regularly.

Plums And Berries

Eat a lot of ripe and juicy plums and berries if you want to ward off peptic ulcers. They help in destroying the ulcer causing bacteria and also slow down their growth.
