Avoid marinades or sauces that contain balsamic vinegar and soy sauce. After the treatment of teeth whitening, avoid taking foods that are dark in color for a couple of weeks. Also avoid blueberry muffins in breakfast. Stews, dark chocolate, dark soups and similar foods that are dark in color may contribute to stains on your teeth and leave behind a hideous residue. Also avoid citrus foods as they have acidic properties that may fade the teeth enamel. Or else brush your teeth every time after eating citrus foods.

Chocolates, sweets and desserts are sticky and attract bacteria. They may also lead to discoloration of your teeth and damage the teeth enamel. So always brush your teeth after having any such foods.
