Choose those colors of makeup product which match your skin tone or which complement your skin color. For instance if you have dark complexion and you apply foundation of very light color, it will look too cakey and like a mask. If you choose right color of the makeup, it will boost your already attractive looks. And also there should be harmony between various makeup products you are using. There are two types of color tones, bluish or cold tones and gold or warm tones. Identify your color tone and choose colors accordingly.

How to choose makeup Accessories

While choosing concealer, first thing is to match the shade. Shade of concealer should be two or three shades lighter than your skin tone. If you want cover large portions then liquid concealer is right but for hiding pimples or scars, solid concealer works well.

Shade of foundation should be such that it gets disappear on the face. Test the shade at jaw line. For oily skin, select oil free formula and for dry skin creamy foundation is desired.

Select the shade of blusher which is your natural blush tone. You can have two shades of blusher, lighter for the day and darker for evening.

Shade of lipstick should also complement your skin tone. You can complement it with your outfit also but it should match with your whole look. Go for nourishing and sun blocking lipsticks to protect your lips.

Eyeshadow can be used to give dramatic effect so you can choose eye shadow which matches your eye and hair color. You can choose eyeshadow according to the outfit also.

Black and brown shades of mascara are the most natural choices. You can select them according to your preference and occasion. But one thing is to be noted, they should not irritate eyes.
