Rosemary is effective in the treatment of dry hair. It can be used in combination with sandal wood. Take six drops of rosemary oil and mix them with six drops of sandal wood oil. Sixty millilitres of aloe vera gel and sixty millilitres of olive oil can be mixed together and added in the mixture of essential oils.

Jajoba Oil

Jajoba oil is useful in treating the symptoms of dry hair. To use jajoba oil, take few teaspoons of jajoba oil and add them in few teaspoons of coconut oil and almond oil. One can also use olive oil in place of almond oil. All the teaspoons of these essential oils can be taken in a saucepan. Let the mixture of oils to warm. Do not overheat the mixture. Massaging this warm mixture of oils over the dry hair would be recommended.

The hair can be wrapped using towel and leave for around twenty minutes. Afterwards, wash the hair using shampoo. This herbal remedy would help in providing shine and elasticity to the affected hair. Using this remedy one time on a weekly basis would be recommended.

Lavender

Lavender is a beneficial remedy helpful for treating dry hair. Take one tablespoon of gelatine and add it in one tablespoon of water. Stir the mixture until it gets melt. Few drops of lavender oil can be added in the mixture along with one tablespoon of vinegar.
