Earache Relief

During the winter months, earaches can become quite a problem. So can getting into the doctor’s office. Well, here are some simple home remedies for immediate earache relief. Although these methods have proven very effective,  you must keep an open mind. These remedies require no store bought items and are completely organic and natural ways to cure an earache.

The most daring is a teaspoon of fresh urine in the infected ear canal. Simply put a cotton ball in afterward. This is an immediate treatment for earache relief and even though it seems unpleasant it is proven very effective in the green community. So if you think you can handle it, it is fast, effective and within minutes you can go on with your day.

Cotten Ball

Another interesting remedy for earache relief is breast milk. Just a few drops of warm breast milk in the infected ear followed by a cotton ball approximately twice a day for two days. This warms the wax and allows it to exit the ear. This releases the pressure, which is what causes most pain.

For the readers that may think this is too extreme for them,  there are several other home remedies for earache relief. Many ingredients such as oils, vinegars, and alcohols are used to treat an earache and are far less dramatic.

Castor oil

Castor oil is commonly used in the green community for several ailments, and earache relief is one of them. Simply warm a small amount of oil in the microwave.  Be careful not to overheat the oil. Using an eyedropper or ear dropper , drop two to three drops of oil in the infected ear, follow it up with a cotton ball. Repeat this process twice a day and within a couple of days your earache will be gone!

white vinegar

Another common concoction is three parts white vinegar to one part rubbing alcohol. Two drops in the infected ear two or three times a day until the ear no longer hurts.
These methods not only keep you out of the doctor’s office but they save money and time! Although some ways may seem ridiculous or farfetched, they are old remedies that were used long before we had antibiotics and Tylenol to aid in earache relief.
