It can be controlled with ORS, antibiotics and some herbal home remedies. It is a most common cause of children’s and infant’s death worldwide due to dehydration.

Mix 2 teaspoon of sugar and ½ teaspoon of salt in two glass of water and drink this mixture in regular intervals of time to relieve diarrhea, this mixture is also called as ORS i.e. Oral Rehydration Solution and can be also given to infants and small children’s.Mix ½ teaspoon of fenugreek seeds into 1 cup of water and drink this mixture to alleviate digestion, is also a good remedy for children’s.

Lemon Juice To Relieve Diarrhea

Lemon Juice

Take one teaspoon on lemon juice in 4 teaspoon of milk to get relief from diarrhea.One teaspoon of lemon juice in a cup of warm tea also helps to stop diarrhea in half hour.One glass of water with 1 teaspoon of lemon juice also helps to relieve watery stools.

Pomegranate Remedy

Pomegranate

Take 2 teaspoon of Pomegranate juice and add equal quantity of sugar in it then drink it with half cup of water to stop diarrhea.Eating raw Pomegranate fruit also helps to relieve diarrhea.

Food To Be Taken

Banana

To recover from diarrhea easily take diet rich in rice, apple and banana and is also easy to digest.Rice cooked with equal quantity of Mung bean and butter or ghee is also good to relieve diarrhea.Yogurt produces lactic acid bacillus which kills bacteria produced in intestine that helps to relieve diarrhea, you can have it as it is or with rice. It can be also taken as butter milk to alleviate smooth digestion.Starchy foods like potato, carrot and root vegetables contain high nutrients and good for digestion.

Avoid Soft Drink

Keep yourself hydrated with drinking water to avoid dehydration but do not drink milk, soft drinks and alcohol as it may worsen the patient’s condition.Avoid spicy, fatty food as it is difficult for digestion in patients suffering from diarrhea.

Other Remedies

Drinking 1 cup coconut water with 1 teaspoon of cumin powder helps to stop watery stools.Cook raw papaya in 1 cup of water and eat it for 2/3 days simultaneously for diarrhea. Take ½ teaspoon of nutmeg powder, 1 teaspoon of lemon juice and mix it well to stop diarrhea, it also helps to pass soft normal stool and stops bloating and gas.Add 1 teaspoon of chamomile flower and 1 teaspoon of peppermint leaves in 1 cup of boiling water and drink this mixture thrice daily to treat diarrhea, chamomile contains natural anti diarrheal and antispasmodic properties.

Blueberries contain antibacterial and antioxidants properties, eating raw blueberries or drinking blueberry juice will help to fight diarrhea and improves stomach upset problem.Take orange peel and boil it into a glass of water then add sugar and honey into it and drink warm, it also helps to improve digestion.Diarrhea can be caused due to irritable bowel syndrome or food poisoning, if is not recovered by home treatments and condition of patient is still serious immediately seek a medical attention.
