Eye Makeup Tips for Eyeshadow:

If you want more natural look, apply single shade from base of eyelid to the brow bone and apply clear or neutral mascara top open up the eyes.


While applying eyeshadow on the crease of eyelid, for a clear view, tilt your head slightly back to keep the eye slightly open. This way you can see the shape and let the eyeshadow go into crease.


For puffy eyelids, use matte colors with soft look and avoid applying florescent and frosted shades of eye shadows.


Sparingly use iridescent shades if you have mature skin.


While selecting the shades of eyeshadow, remember that darker shades give dramatic look and lighter shades give natural and sober look.


While working to achieve smoky eyes look, keep your lips nude to have the right focus on eyes only.


Eye Makeup Tips for Mascara:

When you apply mascara, remove the excess of mascara on the applicator wand on a tissue otherwise it will smudge on eyelashes.


When you want to cover applicator wand with mascara, do not pump the wand in and out of the mascara tube rather twirl it inside the tube. Pumping will cause air bubbles to gather inside the tube and mascara will dry up soon in the tube.


On lower lashes, less is more for mascara.


If mascara in the tube reaches its bottom, then do not add water to it to dilute as it can form bacteria. Instead place the tube inside the warm water; it will melt the mascara inside the tube. .


Different colors of mascara like blue or green can be tried for a more dramatic look.


To open up eyes, curl the lashes using an eyelash curler before applying mascara. Do not curl beyond the middle of lashes and also do not clutch lashes for longer time at a single place as it will make undesirable sharp angle on the lashes.


If you want more voluminous and heavy lashes, apply a thin coat of mascara initially and let it dry completely. Now apply second coat, more on the base of lashes.


Eye Makeup Tips for Eyeliner:

When using an eyeliner pencil, make sure it is sharpened and make it soft by rolling it between your palms. This will prevent eyeliner pencil to pull the skin.


While applying eyeliner pencil, keep the mouth slightly open; it will relax the eye muscles and you can smoothly apply it without pulling the lid skin.


Apply eyeliner on the lash line in such a way that there is no gap between lash line and eyeliner otherwise, skin color reflects from there.


Do not over apply eyeliner to save you from raccoon look later.


Place a line of dots on the lashes on the lash line using brown eyeliner pencil. It will create natural appearance of fuller lashes.


If you want top create dramatic look, draw eyeliner line on the top of lash and then draw similar line inside the lash line.


Eye Makeup Tips for Eyebrows:

Do not apply very dark eyebrow powder as it will make over powering eyebrows.


Fill eyebrow color in feather like strokes using a pencil and then comb again.


For filling powder brow color, use hard bristled brush.


While going to shape your brows, make sure it is not over plucked.


If you have brows closer to eyes, you can bleach them for a better look.


The main trick for filling eyebrow color is to comb, apply and then comb again.

Always use makeup remover specially designed to remove the eye makeup as skin of eyes is very delicate.


You can use olive oil, baby oil or fresh milk too, to remove the eye makeup.
