Gone With Garlic

Garlic is a known anti-fungal agent. Against this infection, you can use garlic against the fungal infection either with its oil, juices or direct intake of its cloves. For juice, take 5-6 cloves of garlic and crush them with 3-4 teaspoons of water.

Strain the water completely and apply it on the infection directly.  Alternatively, you can buy garlic oil. If you are averse to both of these methods. Then just gulp down 2 cloves with some warm water. But this remedy will take  a very long time to provide relief.

Turmeric is an anti-septic and anti-fungal agent. You can either apply it directly as a paste or mix two spoonful of turmeric to warm milk aed.nd consume two glasses of it in a day regularly until you get some relief.

Try to get raw turmeric root as it is pure and devoid of any additions unlike the powdered one which is processed and might be contamination.

Tea Tree oil

Tea tree oil is a great skin cleanser and moisturiser. Take a cotton swab and immerse it in the tea tree oil. Apply to the affected area.

Oregano oil

Wild Oregano oil is great treatment for fungal infection. Few drops in a day applied on the skin will relieve you from jock itch. However, you must mix it with other cooling oils like coconut oil. Oregano oil used in pure form can cause burning sensation to the extent of being a discomfort.

Thyme

Like Oregano oil, thyme oil is also anti-fungal in nature. Thyme contains an antifungal component called Thymol which discourages the fungal growth.

You can also prepare thyme tea by boiling a bunch of thyme leaves in the water. Cool it down and either drink it or apply it with a cotton swab. You can also keep this water as an after wash for the groin area.

Team Up With Neem

Every part of the Neem tree is useful as some or the other remedy. Right from its leaf to its bark is of utility. It is anti-septic and potent solution for allergies, rashes and infection.

You can prepare an after wash by boiling neem leaves and retaining this water for washing the affected area. You can also grind these leaves to form a smooth paste.

Apply a thin layer to the affected area until it dries up. Wash off as usual. NEem oil can also be used directly on the infection for fast relief.
