HOME REMEDIES FOR BODY RASH OR SKIN RASH

Skin or the body rash is a common term that describes a group of special spots, an area of inflammation or altered color or texture of the skin. Skin rashes might be associated with various other symptoms such as itching, tingling, burning, pain, inflammation and sometimes, surprisingly with no discomfort at all.

Body rashes may or may not be contagious. Some of the body rashes affect the whole body (termed as a generalized), where as others appear on discrete areas of the skin (termed as a localized). Skin rashes can be self limiting or require medications.

Home Remedies for Body Rash

Useful home remedies for body rash include washing the area with chamomile tea. It is considered to be great healing material.

Another good home remedy for body rash is to apply an olive oil on the affected area. Olive oil has property to penetrate into the skin and to cure the rash.

Simple home remedy for body rash includes applying Aloe vera gel or pulp onto the affected body area having rashes.

Some of the dermatologists suggest application of Cod liver oil and Vitamin E in the form of gel or any product. These two have natural chemical that is good for body rash cure.

One study shows that application of a baking powder with gentle pressure on the body part having rashes will heal them.

There are many researches that prove that oatmeal bath is one of the best body rash treatment. For this, one must pour a cupful of uncooked oatmeal into the bathwater in the bathtub and then has to soak the body into this solution. It will be sufficient to cure body rashes.

Another home remedy for body rash is making poultice that can be made from yellow dock root, chaparral and dandelion. This unique combination has powerful healing properties and hence, useful in alleviating skin rash.

One of the best home remedies for body rash is soaking the cotton cloth in calcium water or comfrey and then keeping it for some time. After that, just place it on the affected area of the body having rash. It will give soothing effect and will also reduce inflammation.

Internally, one can consume foods those are rich in Vitamin C. Vitamin C is said to have antioxidant property that can heal up the body rashes. This is very useful diet for body rash.

The best way of body rash treatment is to know the cause of it and avoiding it. If they are due to any allergy, you should avoid being in contact of those particular allergens.

One should not ever try to scrub or itch that body rashes. Body rashes those are scratched have tendency to spread to the other sites of the body. If controlling the itching goes beyond one’s capacity then at the most a cotton ball is taken and then it should be fondled carefully.

Body rash remedy - You can also prepare a little simple but useful formula here – grind few Holy Basil leaves with 1 tbsp of olive oil, 2 garlic cloves, a pinch of salt and same of pepper. Smear them on the affected area as the formula helps healing skin condition.

One should always use herbal products for washing or applying on the affected area. Try to avoid the material containing chemicals. This is the simplest body rash remedy.

The rashful area of the body is to be kept under the light airy cotton cloth and it is never to be exposed direct to sunlight and hot water. Protect the affected area from pollution and dust.

Holistic science suggests that one should avoid fermented food like yogurt, pickles and breads in any form such as pizzas. These all foods have tendency to produce some allergy which is not good diet for body rashes.

Home remedy for body rash can include washing the affected body parts with chamomile tea.

Some of the body rashes are hot to touch or to feel. They are red and produce burning sensation in the body especially at the localized area. For these hot rashes, cooling should be the priority. You can have icepack to apply on these types of rashes.

Be sure that the area that has body rashes is getting enough air and ventilation. One should not try to bandage or to close it. This may worsen the case. However, some antiseptic or healing lotion can be applied.

If you have just scratched the area, apply FANTASIA IC hair oil, sounds weird, but it will be gone the next day :)

I get hives when I get too hot, mostly on my face and hands. If I soak my hands in ice water, and rub ice on my face, it seems to shock the nerves into submission. It's the itching, after all, that so uncomfortable. The hives vanish soon after.
