Moles refer to the clusters of pigmented cells that are small, dark brown spots in appearance. They can be seen on face, arms, legs and torso. Around 10-40 moles can be found on a person’s body but the number may change or vary from person to person. In medical terms it is known as nevus or nevi. They are not dangerous but sometimes may take the form of cancer. They can be oval or round in shape. They can be present at the time of birth or can develop during pregnancy and puberty.
Causes of Moles
The various causes of moles are:
- Proliferation of the pigment cells
- Hereditary
- Exposure to sunlight

Make sure that it isn't on the mole.
If you tie it tightly then the mole should just drop off after a few hours but may take longer depending on the size of the mole.
I've just started to try this method but I have been told by some one who has already done this method that it works and should leave a little, if not no mark at all.
Moles are a touchy subject, and i am here to imform you there are way's to remove your moles. This is how i did it.
Mix vinager with baking soda, make shure its not to thick but not to thin.
next use a pointed toothpick, and poke at the mole with some pressure, DO NOT LET THE MOLE BLEED.
Next apply some of the mix, just enough to cover the mole.(some stinging should occur).
Finally put a band aid on it and repeat this everyday at close to the same time until the mole break apart and come out. A
As far as scarring, the only thing that should occur is a slight discoloration(mostly pinkish), use some type of scar remedy(cream, gel) to help speed up the process to your normal pigmentation. Also, your skin should go back to it's remaining color after time.
I've never had a problem with reocurring moles.
Try it and be Patient!!
it grew back thought darker and darker each day for about a week then it was fully back. how do i get rid of it completely and fast. it is a flat, small mole on my face
We tried everything, the doctor prescribed the usual acid, which didn't work at all. Instead, we used apple cider vinegar straight on a cotton pad with a bandade that was left on for the night. If you stick to it, it'll be gone in a week. Tip, the bigger ones go quicker, the smaller ones take longer. They just pop out and ina day, the normal skin will fill in. I was impressed.
Now, the hole got kind of darkish now and it looks like a small scab is forming. Kind of scary because it looks like the mole is coming back, but I know that it was completely removed because of no root was left (was pinkish underneath when the mole was taken off). I have now been putting hydrogen peroxide on it every couple of hours to hopefully dry the scab away.
Other than that, it seems ok. I will keep monitoring and report back in a day or so. Pretty amazing that it's gone! It's been bothering me for about 3 years and I was self concious about taking my shirt off.
i am trying the vinegar, baking soda, and vitamin C. (and if this does not work by next week, i will get the laser removal for all of them) mole #1 gets vin & soda, #2 gets vinegar and C, #3 gets just the C. i am letting them all just sit uncovered. (i will also test the same remedies bandaged) maybe i can figure something out.. i just hate them so much! big mistake i did was tan in a cheap basic bed, i got SO many that month! i only tan once every two weeks in a bed that is a lot safer. praying that i can figure something out!
i will check back in. i am glad to hear i am not the only one out there!
p.s follow your gut. if you have a funny feeling, stop what you are doing. moles are scary business and CAN turn into cancer!
plz respond

How do u get rid of flat moles?
or contact me at chloeyeo-17@hotmail.com on msn or send me an email!
i used a small piece of garlic coated in cider vinegar to get rid of it. it took about 5 days held on with a band aid and its gone!
i have two annoying moles on my arm and tried honey, was taking too long after 3 weeks, so i stopped. instead i scratched the mole til it bleeded and added apple cider vineagr, it went away. i though it was gone cos the cut was deep as if the root had gone. but it come back a lighter colour. perhaps i should of continued.
now im trying cutting my moles til they bleed then adding crushed vitamin c tablets so the moles fizz with the mixture of blood and vit c.
sounds dangerous and stings slightly, but i dont care i want them gone!
What puerile and appalling English. Try reading good books to understand grammar and punctuation.
Leave the damn TV and computer games alone and GROW UP.

can anyone plzz give me good advice to which is the best remedy to use listed above and since it is on my face, i am a little scared to try anything because it might leave a scar or some type of redspot!
and over 50 plus.
I unlike others will tell you what happened to the ones I do.
in fact I think I will take photos so you will know.
its too hard waiting and waiting wondering..
I am going to do the apple cider / baking soda/ bandaids photos. the web address no w starts with a h mrmoleyyuppers.webs. and the c word
remember I will post more photos on that . web.com
Before you sleep, apply tea tree oil, then cover it up with raw honey (unpasteurised honey).
After about 1 week or more, the area will start to get dry and skin cells starts to flake off. It will lighten the mole gradually.
In the last week I finally tried piercing the mole with a needle until a tiny bit of blood formed when then squeezed. I crused a vit c tablet and rubbed it on and then put a small chunk on it and covered with a plaster overnight. In the morning I would wash my face and put a blob of sudocreme or savlon to calm down the redness for the day and then put on my usual layers of make up. After the first treatment the mole was noticeably smaller and lighter and has gradually dissapeared. I have a small mark, which is now dissapearing. I really can't believe I waited this long to try this!
please help.
oh by the way i heard that drinking acv(3 tablespoons +glass of water) helps of getting rid moles/sunspots and its really good for loosing weight.
thanks
Hi everyone! Okay so I have tried everything to remove this one really UGLY MOLE. I went online and bought a book for $40 called No more moles warts or skin tags. I mean you can search about it and read everything to it. It's pretty amazing. I'm trying it right now, and I've been doing this for about 3 days. The mole has gotten very very light and hopefully it'll go away.
I went EVERYWHERE to like evry god damn website to get the secret way of removing these moles. After hours of searching I gave up and bought the book.
Since I dont want anyone to go through the pain and days of useless seaching I'm letting you guys have it!!!
It WORKS! and it's safe and it wont come back.
Good Luck to all!! =)
Supplies:
The following is a list of items you will need to use for the mole removal method:
1. Bottle of Castor Oil
2. Baking Soda (Bicarbonate of Soda)
3. Sterile Stainless Needle - you can also use a small sewing needle, as long as it is sterilized.
4. Emery Boards
5. Band-aids
The All-Natural Method to Remove Skin Moles:
1. Clean mole(s) with soap and water. Pat dry, but leave the mole(s) damp.
2. Scratch the entire mole’s surface with a sterile, stainless needle. Concentrate on the mole’s center or base. Use the emery board to scratch and rough up the entire surface of the mole(s). Scratching
should be hard enough so that when the mixture is applied, it will penetrate the mole’s surface.
3. Mix a teaspoon of castor oil with just enough baking soda to make a thin paste, not cake-like or crumbly. If the mixture takes on such a consistency, you will need to add more oil. A new paste should be used each time you apply the mixture to your mole(s).
4. Rub a small amount into the mole(s) until it is partially absorbed (this will take approximately one or two minutes). Make sure you apply enough so the areas you have scratched are covered completely.
5. After the initial application, apply a little more of the mixture over the top and cover with a band-aid.
6. Repeat steps one, three, four, and five, three times a day: Once in the morning, once in the afternoon, and once again right before you go to bed. You will not have to scratch the surface of the mole after the first time.
7. Be patient! It usually takes from three days to three weeks for the mole(s) to fall out. However, since everyone’s body is different, the process may take longer. For this reason keep doing this process until the mole has fallen off completely.
Important Notes:
Scratching is the most important part of the process, since it allows the mixture to penetrate to the core of the mole(s). If you can't use both hands, you may need another person to help you with that step.
Certain types of mole(s) are very hard. Soaking them in warm soapy water for 20 to 30 minutes before scratching usually helps. If necessary, simply scratch harder to penetrate the outer layer.
If a slight stinging sensation is not felt, the mixture has not
penetrated the mole(s), and the application may not work properly. Scratch deeper and reapply.
Prior to using this method, calluses covering mole(s) should be softened and removed by immersing them in warm to hot water for 15 to 20 minutes.
Treated mole(s) should be covered at all times after the mixture is applied. Be careful not to disturb or remove the band-aid because premature removal can slow the healing process.
The mole(s) will usually fall off anywhere between three days to three weeks, though with some individuals it takes as long as six weeks.
Redness on the skin around the treated mole(s) is a natural occurrence and indicates the healing is progressing. Such discoloration quickly disappears.
Pink or red tissue is normal after the mole falls off. Normally, the pinkness fades as the tissue becomes environmentally conditioned. Skin tones normally balance out within 15 days, although some people may require several weeks for skin tones to return to normal.
Precautions:
The castor oil and baking soda mixture is for external use only. If the mixture gets into the eyes, flush thoroughly with water. If unusual discomfort arises, consult a physician.
It worked! What can I do to make sure they don’t come back?
Most moles develop from sun exposure. Sun exposure can come from either direct or indirect sunlight. Care should be taken to reduce your sunlight exposure.
The sun’s rays can be bad for the skin, producing wrinkles, skin
cancers, and other skin problems over time.
The sun produces two kinds of rays: ultraviolet A (UVA) and ultraviolet B (UVB). Despite some claims to the contrary, both kinds of rays can cause skin damage, even cancer. Tanning salons, for instance, sometimes “claim that they use harmless’ UVA rays . . . .While UVA rays take longer than UVB rays to damage the skin, they go deeper into the skin than UVB rays”). Both can cause skin damage.
The following tips can help avoid sun damage to the skin:
Winter Sunlight
Take care to avoid excess sun exposure in the winter. Even though winter sunlight may not seem as harsh as other times of the year, it can be just as damaging as summer sunlight. In fact, the sun reflecting off white snow can actually cause severe damage if prolonged.
Swimming and Sunlight
Although being in the water reduces the sensation of sun-burning, it does not eliminate the dangers of UVA and UVB rays. “Remember that clouds and water won’t protect you–60% to 80% of the sun’s rays can get through clouds and can reach swimmers at least one foot below the surface of the water. The sun’s rays can also reflect off of water . . . and white sand” (“Skin Cancer,” 2005). In fact, swimmers need to be more vigilant with their use of sunscreen: water can wash away many sunscreen products. Swimmers are advised to reapply sunscreen frequently.
Minimize Sun Exposure
Try to plan your outdoor activities around when the sunlight is weakest, before 10:00 am and after 3:00 pm. Sunlight is reflected off of water, snow, sand and concrete. Cloudy or overcast days can still let sunlight through.
Shade
If you have to be outside during peak sunlight hours, try to stay in the shade. Consider using an umbrella if there is no natural shade.
Cover Up
Clothing puts a physical barrier between your skin and the harmful rays of the sun. People in Australia, where the sun is particularly intense, rarely go outdoors without wearing a wide-brimmed hat to protect their face, neck, and ears (they don’t wear those hats just to look cool!). Long sleeves and long pants, even in summer, are recommended for anyone who is going to be outdoors for a long time and/or during the peak sunlight hours.
Also protect your eyes by wearing a good pair of sunglasses designed for blocking UVA and UVB rays.
Sunscreen
Make sure your sunscreen protects against both UVA and UVB rays and that it has a sun protective factor (SPF) of 30 or more. Reapply frequently, because:
1. It can rub off.
2. It can wash off in water.
3. Sunlight exposure can decrease a sunscreen’s effectiveness.
If you are swimming or sweating a lot, reapply your sunblock at least every hour. Do not believe that just because you are covered up and/or wearing sunscreen that you are protected from UVA and UVB rays. The sun can penetrate clothing. Wearing tightly-woven clothing is the best protection against this penetration.
Although most of the harmful effects of the sun occur during childhood, it is a good idea to be aware of how you can protect yourself from the sun whenever possible.

Scars is worst than a mole.

any reply would be appreciated
I got it when i was about 6, probably from sun exposure because I was always outside during the summer as a kid and that is when I got it
over the years it kept getting bigger now its the size of the back of a pencil eraser
I have hated it my whole life and always been self conscious about it
I am excited that i found these methods to try to remove it,
I'm going to try the pineapple juice first and see if it fades and goes away
I'm going to put pineapple juice on about 3 times a day.... I don't know if i should put a band-aid on it so I won't and I will just leave it on for a little while
I will report back with what it does in 3-4 days
hopefully it works!!!
more beautiful than you already are I got one on my top right cheek but it don't bother me, love yourself from who you are don't lower your self esteem
well the thing is i am scared that it leave a scar or burn because it is right on my eye lid, can you please tell me which remedy is Effective and works well but doesn't leave a mark or burn?
You see, I've done this for 3 nights already, but now on my 4th day, my mole feels sore and a bit rough to the touch. The skin around it becomes a little rough and dark.
I'm really worried 'cause the mole hasn't dried up and scabbed and the skin around it becomes dark. Feels sore too.
Any ideas why? What should I do? Or is this okay and normal?
HELPPPP!!!
Now every time I see myself in the mirror, I feel weird 'cause I'm still not used to seeing my face without the black mole.
Hopefully the scar will heal up nicely! :)
