For: Leg cramps and Restless Legs syndrome

Unwrap a new regular size bar of soap, any brand, and place it between the two sheets on your side of the bed. The soap should be placed not far from the foot of the bed and on whichever side wanting it from your feet. You will never realize it is in the bed as you are not going to have it this close to your body. When making the bed up, always make sure the soap is on the flat area, on your side and hasn't fell over the end of the mattress where the top sheet is tucked under. Time to remove the old bar and replace with another new bar when having the first sign of any leg/toe cramping. I used to have terrible cramps! I am asked what is in the bar of soap when their leg/toe cramping stops? Sorry, I don't know the answer. Don't do what I did after a long period of time. I was having no more leg cramps to let me know when to switch out the soap. So, I thought the leg cramps had ceased. After a period of time had passed, I was woke up with my whole leg cramping terribly and including toes drawing. I will not quit having my bar of soap in the bed anymore! Another thing, my not knowing if it will work for everyone who suffers from restless legs syndrome, but I put a new bar of soap on my husband's side of the bed as an experiment. I seen he was sleeping well at night with my being a night owl. With never saying anything to me, I finally asked about his restless legs syndrome after about ten days? He told me that he wasn't having it and not knowing why. But, he was hoping to not have it anymore. When telling him I had placed a new bar of soap on his side of the bed she was shocked. He knew it wasn't a mind thing since not knowing it was there. When having the first reoccurring sign, he wanted another new bar of soap. So glad I experimented to see if the soap would help my husband.
He has been using the soap for months now. One day recently, it tried to flare up, but we know the soap is working for him! - Kay Berry

The bar of soap trick really does work. My mother learned of it and I have been doing it ever since I was 22 years old and would have sore legs and feet from work. I highly recommend it.

My grandmother puts a bar of soap under her sheets and she says it works.
I also have pains in my leg daily and I take motrin. It helps, but after a while of taking it, it tears up your stomach.
Thanx 4 the help! ;-)

I put 3 cups of REV epsom salt (for moms) into my bath water and soak it for 15 minutes (very good and relaxing scent and 100% natural). This makes me really feel rejuvanted ;-)

Like Maria I also use epsom salt because my Mom has always looked to it as a cure all. However, after trying almost all the ones on the market I prefer Pepsom Sports because it has a great spearmint scent and is only about $3. Soaking in Epsom salts is not only one of the most relaxing things you can do but also helps to remove toxins :-D

I put a bar of Ivory in a pillow case with the pillow and the first night I had a cramp in my calf. I noticed that the bar of soap was on the bottom of t he pillow, so I flipped the pillow over and the second night, there was no cramping.

Those who are potassium low should buy low sodium V8 juice. Instead of 540 mg of potassium in regular V8, there are 950 mg of potassium. Remove all salt in your shakers and replace with "No Salt" which is pure potassium and can be found at Publix. I carry a small pill bottle in the car to take into restuarants and use it instead of salt as well.
