here's a remedy dont drink smoke weed instead. weed is all natural no preservatives, additives, hormones or anything else 100% pure cant say the same for bottled liquor and beer...but if you must drink heres a tip drink a cup of oolong tea with mint and honey. oolong tea has 3 different types of antioxidents found in green and black teas called polyphenols. since alcohol is a toxin the antioxidents will help remove the toxin from your body the honey will break down the toxins and the mint will relieve stomach and intestinal discomfort for a headache eat persimmon fruit, lavender, ginko biloba or feverfew. there you have it an all natural healthy hangover cure you welcome.

I find that if you eat exactly 1 hour before you start drinking works; and eating before you go to bed with lots of water; as well as the hot bath in the morning works; and if you know you are going out partying on a certain day always drink the night before to acustom your body to the alcohol; it is less of a shock to the system. If you are hung over with a headache, nothing works better than EXCEDRIN extra strength; it has 65 mg more of caffiene per tablet which speeds up the acetominophen faster relieving the headache in 10 minutes or less (its way better than tylenol); besides, caffiene is actually good for hangovers anyways. These remedies work for me 100% of the time.

I don't know if you can get hold of a product called Berocca but if you can, dissolve two berocca tabs into a big glass of water and knock it down before you go to bed. It's a fizzy drink and doesn't taste great but it works. The important thing is to remember to take it in your drunken stooper before you go to bed.
#7 - Pete - 08/29/2008 - 00:47
Agree with Pete about Berrocca. It works. Also I've found that eating some food and drinking atleast two glasses of water before you pass out...i mean sleep. Then if you still wake up with a headache (which means you didn't drink enough water last night) then have a headache tablet (GrandPa works best), and more water. By now water is your newly found enemy so alternate with warm or iced rooibos / green tea. Spicy chicken wings tend to be an absolutely devine snack during the day as well for those constant hunger pangs. Oh and when all is said and done one really cold, and refreshing cider, (Hunter's Dry works best) will remind you that you're human again.

the best thing to do is take pills called essencials theses will allow you to drink but u wont get motherless. and have a few glasses of water in between your drinks.
#9 - dr d - 01/01/2009 - 03:47
Moderation or don't drink at all,but if your like me one drink leads to another and before you know ya' got a hangover comin. Water will dilute the alcohol so consume as much water as u can hold before going out and eat . Food in your belly will slow the effects of alcohol. Gator aid or any sport drink has electrolytes which help hydrate faster. Another alternative: Hair of the dog.

I have done this for about 10 years and so far it has always worked!!
About an hour or so before you start drinking, eat a small to regular meal that is not loaded with grease. Also, take 2 extra strength tylenol with a glass of water. Also, try to drink a glass or two of water in between drinks. It will keep you hydrated. After you are done drinking, eat a small snack with LOW SUGAR AND LOW GREASE! I have served and bartended for 12 years and sugar and grease will make you SO sick when you are drinking! Avoid them no matter how much your drunken muchies want them! :) Do this and go home and sleep. When you wake up, drink another glass of water and take 2 more tylenol. After that, you are good to go!

When you get home drink pickle juice. It counter reacts with the alchohol is your system neutralizing it. In Russia after drinking Vodka they eat things that are pickled to do this very thing... Then right before you go to sleep its important that you take two pain relievers (I take Tylenol) and one VITAMIN!!!! The vitamin replenishes the stuff your liver depleted you of while trying to process out the alchohol. Do these things and you will not suffer the next day. Oh and B12 sublingual drops the next day help. I get mine at WalMart...

:-P before going to bed drink lots of water!!!... then in the morning take two asprin's n drink more water... the juice thing works to but you have to drink a lot so you can flush the alcohol out...
#13 - pwee - 03/13/2009 - 08:23
:-) Hungover the next day? Make a banana honey milk shake. It works! It replenishes the electrolytes and potassium back in that the alcohol depleted your body of. Also soothes your stomach .

Note: I heard that taking tylenol while being intoxicated is not good for your liver. Try advil or asprin instead and lots of water!
#14 - Tammy - 03/17/2009 - 02:42
best thing I've ever found to do after a night of pounding down drinks...in the morning, drink some pickle juice and take a hot bath. always works for mE.
#15 - Robin - 03/23/2009 - 07:54
Tylenol is the worse thing to ingest when drinking because it is bad for a liver that is already saturated with alcohol! As a nurse, I eat before I drink; drink water between drinks (even shots of tequila go with a full glas of water and that helps keep me hydrated).

Before I go to bed I take a B complex vitamin and drink more water and if I need it a protein shake to keep sugar levels even over night.

If I have absolutely not paid any attention while drinking and no Ididn't drink enough water and will get a headache due to dehydration; then I will take ibuprofen instead of tylenol.

Whoever sais smoking weed is 100% natural is also wrong. There are side effects with all drugs including alcohol.

And a little oil (grease) is a good idea as that coats your stomach (think olive oil with a grilled chicken salad)

The best is to dilute a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar in a glass of water. Take this and within 30 minutes, you will not even remember you took any alcohol at all!

#20 - Johnny Mae - 06/18/2009 - 11:36
I've always found a couple of Paracetemol when you get up (or before you go to bed if you remember) have always helped along with a bottle of coke.If you can stomach it a couple of pieces of dry bread normally help too, along with at least a pint of water preferably before you go to bed. Hope this helps

#23 - kate - 08/28/2009 - 15:39
If you are going to a party and have lots of alcohol, before going to sleep, drink lots of water, and try not to sleep immediately as this will just slows down the alcohol breakdown on your body, have atleast 1hour watching t.v, or surfing net before going to sleep... I am 7yrs drinker, this works for me, even if i had only 2-4hrs of sleep no hang over, no medication involved!
#24 - Mark - 09/05/2009 - 08:57
Before bed eat something with a lot of capsicum (hot pepper) and of course as much water as possible. Upon waking make a smoothie with banana, orange, pineapple, apple, honey, and ice (Vitamix users call this orbappi juice). Nuf said now get to it!
#25 - rob0 - 09/29/2009 - 22:46
Gatorade and BC works just fine before and after you get your drink on. and the hot shower in the morning.
#26 - Brenna B - 11/07/2009 - 12:13
Smoking weed will prevent a hangover! I drank a litre of vodka one night and was unbelievably drunk and thus didn't know what i was doing... my friend made me smoke weed and voila, no hangover! I have done this twice now and although that's not proof, it worked both times for me and i really suffer with hangovers usually. I don't condone the use of controlled substances by the way
